Q: Is the chevrolet Tahoe 2007 economical in terms of gas mileage? How’s the interior of the car?

A: Apart from an H1 or H2 the Tahoe is probably the least economical vehicle on the market. The interior is ok but really not that good. GM has always made poor interiors but they are getting better.

Q: How can i switch on the day running lights in my chevrolet Tahoe 2007?

Q: Is the 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ 4 Wheel Drive a gas gussler?
How many miles per gallon do you typically get on it, both city and highway?

A: According to the government this Tahoe averages 14 city/19 highway mileage.

I would call that a huge gas guzzler.

What is the best way to repair the gauges. Do you have to replace the whole cluster or can you replace each guage?

A: If your professional diagnosis deems the gauges broken, then you have to replace the whole cluster. That’s how they sell it.

Q: Will 26″ rims fit on a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe with out problems?
I know they are going to mess with the ride a lil and the brakes, but Im thinkin 24″ or 26″. I think 24″ are mor pratical. I dont want the tires hitting the fender wheel. Ive had that prob in the past and it sux.

it makes a clunking noise from the front end when I go over bumps and make right hand turns

A: sounds like a shock or strut…. take a look at that if they are wet they are bad…. and jack it up take a hold of the wheel shake it left to right feel any thing loose woul dbe like a tie rod or drag link….. take a hold of the wheel again shake from top to bottom this would ball joints or bushing…. now for the steering shaft i think that would be the last thing …. your steering wheel on the inside would move a round or you would have slack in the wheel you turn but it dont you would know it if it was bad…… think you have a bad ball joint or bushing…. best you have it check it can be done at home but its not one for a beginner

Everyone tell me that the 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe rides real smooth.. So I was curious if it is as quiet as the Cadillac Deville/DTS..

A: I’ve driven both, and no, the Tahoe isn’t anywhere close to the Caddy’s ride, but I’ll tell you this: The difference between the Tahoe and an Expedition is about the same as the difference between the Tahoe and the Caddy. Expedition is that much rougher.

Q: 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe Air Conditioning Pressure Valve?
My 97 Tahoe has a leaking A/C pressure valve. I went to charge the system yesterday, and when I finished I took the hoses from the charging gauges off. The pressure side valve leaked. I pressed it down with a small screwdriver yet still couldn’t get it to seat. I looks like it might have a damaged seal around the valve.

Can I replace the valve? And if so, how. Or do I have to replace the entire hose assemble as they connect to the compressor?

Thanks

A: You will have to evacuate the A/C system of it’s freon to replace that schraeder valve. There is a tool that is similar to the one used on valve stems on tires that you might get and just try to tighten it first. That tool can be found at automotive A/C supply stores. Don’t try to use anything else or you might mess it beyond repair. If you replace the hose you will also have to evacuate the system. I would try tightening it first. Also I’ve seen people just put a good o-ring under the cap that goes on it and tighten the cap real tight to avoid having to evacuate the system.

Q: How do I install extra speakers on my stock 1993 Chevrolet S10 Tahoe?
My 1993 Chevy S10 has the stock speakers in it, and i’d like to add one extra speaker behind me in the ext. cab.
How do I wire it to the stock stereo? Or can I? And where do the wires connect to?

A: it sounds like you dont know much about the subject so you need to go to somewhere like bestbuy and they will tell you what you need……
and it would be hard and alot of time to explain how to hook a car system up on here so go to best buy if you buy the car audio there they will hook it up for you…
you want to add a subwoofer you need a car amplifier to supply enough power to run the subwoofer….
