Q: Does anyone have a Toyota supra 1993 or newer for sale and if so let me know the specs and price?
I’m just looking around for a decent Toyota Supra preferably in Canada for a decent price and in excellent condition
A: 20G’S-30G’S IS THE PRICE RANGE FOR TURBOS! 10g-20g is N/A
Q: Where could i find cheap toyota supra’s for sale?
A: Try autotrader.com or craigslist.com. They sold very few Supras after 1989 so it may be hard to find a good one.
Q: is toyota supra 1981 used car 1 with a 73,000 mileage is still reasonable to buy and drive?
1981 toyota supra used car for sale $1,200 automatic
A: wow, I have a 1981 black sports edition with only 76,000 miles. The 5ME engine is weak, but for 1981 nice. I’ve rebuilt the engine, all the parts are available. Real simple. After a new paint and interior, I’d expect it to go for $3000.
Q: Are the any 1995 mitsubishi gts for sale,or mitsubishi evo 7’s,maybe 98 toyota supra?
A: #@&* auto trader…sucks…. I bought my BMW 540 on Ebay… awesome place to buy , not sell… It was blue book value of 28,000 and i got it for 19.600, I put down $500 and flew from DC to Atlanta to inspect then close the deal and drove it home..
Q: ‘98 toyota supra twin-cam hardtop coupe?
Ok found this supra for sale and its only for about 3.5k. Now I’m a little shady about this one. I mean, most supras are expensive and this one seems cheap and sounds good to me. This a stock car and hasnt been modified which is perfectly fine for me. Cause i want to do the customization. Do you guys think this is a good deal or what?
Additional info: 16620 original miles. Model 851. Automatic
I didnt mean 3.5k its $3499
A: No it is not a good deal unless you are willing to do a complete engine rebuild within about a year or two since it already has about all the miles it will last before it needs one.
Q: 2 questions??????????????
2 questions. Should I sell it and should I buy it?
I found a 1986 MK3 Toyota Supra for sale. I was looking for a foxbody mustang, but i saw this jewel sitting in the back all forgoten and such. We looked at it and he told me that he wants $2000 for it. It is the 3.0 I6 with a 5 speed and has 114,000 miles on it. The body is a little rough. No dents, but lots of little scrapes and seems like little brushes of white paint is everywhere.
There is no rust except for some surface rust on the bottom in certain areas. The car is from Wyoming. The guy said the engine has a “knock”. I let it idle and drove it for a few miles and even redlined it, but I honestly couldnt find anything but a loose belt. So thats good. Everything is stock except for a fartcan on it. The dealer said the car belonged to an older guy so Im guessing the stock muffler had something wrong with it, and it would be alot cheaper to buy a fartcan than an OEM muffler.
The only thing i can find wrong with the car is that it defintely needs a new cable for the E-Brake and needs a new belt and of course a paint job. Is this a bad buy? I would be swaping in a 2jz ASAP. I want this car to be my project car here at Wyotech with I get to High performance class. I have about 6G to spend so I would have alot left over to mod this car with.
MY NEXT QUESTION IS…
I have a 2006 Cobalt LS/5 speed. I paid about $6,700 for it 4 months ago. I can get $5,000 trade in at the dealership or sell it for around $5,500. Should I sell it while i can still get a decent bit? It seems the price just keeps going down on these cars. The only mods are a CAI, Strut bar, 17 inch rims with new tires and a few interior mods.
So is the car a good deal and should I sell my car basically? Lol sorry for being so long.
A: Buy Supra only if you are mechanically inclined and can fix cars yourself. Parts alone would be expensive for this car and any labor cost would quickly drain your budget.
If you have $6000 and sell your Cobalt for $5000, you’ll have $11,000. Why not get something newer and more reliable and not worry about breaking down all the time. I’ve had plenty of old cars and there is a good reason why Supra would be selling for so cheap like $2000.
You just have to weigh all your options and decide if it is worth to invest money into this car.

Q: Help with the Toyota Supra MKIV?
I’ve been looking into a Supra MKIV for a long time now, but have been hesitant to buy one. I have been reading up on the MKIV and found the model of choice: 6spd manual twin turbo. I’m guessing these aren’t exactly the easiest to find however. If I bought the car stock, how much money should I be looking at dropping into this car for 500+ hp? The ones for sale I have seen have been around 30-35K. Is this an accurate representation of the car’s worth?
A: Supras have always been expensive to buy used and the price doesn’t seem too off of what I expect to see.
As for modding the engine to make 500+hp when stock was 320hp.
Here is an article I found:
With the fourth generation of the Supra, Toyota took a big leap in the direction of a more powerful sports car. The new Supra was completely redesigned and featured two new engines, namely a naturally aspirated 2JZ-GE with 220 hp and 210 lb-ft of torque, and a twin turbocharged 2JZ-GTE with 320 hp and 315 lb-ft of torque. The turbocharged variant could run the 0–60 mph sprint in 4.6 seconds and do the 1/4 mile in 13.1 seconds at 109 mph. The stock turbos are capable of running around 450-500 hp with an unrestricted airflow/exhaust system and an aftermarket boost controller.
Here are some approximate prices:
Intake $300
Exhaust system: $800
Boost Controller $150
Might need a fuel/injector controller $400 and fuel pressure regulator $300
The Supra has one tough engine capable of 1000hp on stock internals (Thats crazy) so by adjusting the turbo’s boost level and giving better airflow you should get about 500hp at around $1500US. It was equipped with 540cc injectors and that should be enough, if not you can increase your fuel pressure instead of buying the injectors. Lastly, you may likely need a Fuel/Injector controller to supply more fuel than the stock ECU is expecting to give. Thus bringing the price up to $2k. Lastly, are you going to install, if not then include labor. These are easy installs, just look around for examples, and then you can have a shop tune it afterwards.
Other good things to do
Other things that you can do for more power:
Port and Polish Heads $1500 (gives you 10% up to 20% more power)
High Performance Clutch $600

Q: lancer evolution or toyota supra mkiv?
im 19 trying to decide which one to buy
2003-2006-lancer evolution
1993-1998-toyota supra
im looking for pro and cons to each car i know a lot about both but undecided on which one to buy.
i like the evo because of its space, look, speed, awd, and cause its a Mitsubishi
i like the supra for its speed, look, engine, and cause its rare to see
i like the look of both of them and their both fast and can be tuned to be faster but i just dont know which one to pick. and i also heard that theres gonna be so many evos for sale for cheap that every one is gonna start getting them and the insurance for them is coming down also and alot of people are saying they might become the next honda gonna be seeing them every where and in southern california i hardly see any and almost never see a supra
p.s yes i am a guy on my wifes profile
also please do not tell me to get a sti cause i dont like the look of them or a rx-7 or any other kind of car just the supra or evo thank you
A: To be fair you have picked really good cars so like you it is hard to pick between them, the Evo is a good car which can be tuned to a good bhp figure and as you said it does have that extra room and also with its awd setup makes a really good car.
The Supra again we will go with the TT version which is a really good car and again offers a tunable engine infact upto around 600bhp with stock internals and as you know well above with further mods, only faults compared to the Evo is the room when we went out in my mates my kids whom are 9 and ten had to sit crossed legged in the back and me and my friend or not tall, only other fault again comparing to the Evo is the handling Supra’s are tail happy infact my friend has just said goodbye to his second Supra.
If the Supra is a rare car then i would get th Supra for now as the Evo is still being made i would have a few years with the Supra then go for an Evo then.
Both cars have a lot to offer and if you struggle with Supra parts give me a shout as there are loads over here.
Q: how much should i offer for a 94 toyota supra?
hey guys there is a toyota supra down my block that has been sitting for YEARS!! from the outside it seems to have a couple aftermarket parts such as rims, exhaust, tail lights, spoiler and a unfinished paint job. im assuming the engine is blown and it has other problems because like i said its been there well over 6 or 7 years without moving! i was thinking of just going up to his door and offering him some money even though its not for sale but i dont know how much money i should offer him? any ideas??
thats what i was thinking. maybe offering 2k and seeing what he says but like kyle g said it might be too much work to restore back!
A: $300.00 max
Q: 1983 Toyota Celica-Supra?
I found one for sale today and I have a few questions about them.
1) How reliable are they?
2) What’s the gas milage?
3) How simple is it to remove the bumpers (for sanding away some rust).
4) There is some bad rust damage on the driver’s side right under the side of the car directly in front of the wheel well. It’s a long piece of metal that runs the length between the two wheels under the side of the car. How hard is it to either replace that part, or repair it? I have a good body shop, so I’m going to call that guy too. Just wanted some feedback.
Only knowledgeable answers please.
A: A celica and a supra are two different cars, (im 99% certain)
I fit is a celica, it probably has a four cylinder engine and probably gets 25 to 35 mpg, if its a supra it probably has a six or eight cylinder engine, its more of a sports car than a celica.
and about the rust, if it is a bumper or a trim piece it should bolt on/off rather easily to be replaced if its from 1983, if it is part of the car (like the door jam or something, you are probably getting into a lot of welding and bondo, it’s hard to say without seeing the car
Q: i have an engine question?
there is a cheap toyota supra 1987 manual 5speed for sale.
it has low miles and it in exceptionaly good condition for $600!
the problem was the car was ran without engine oil and now whenever you do start it, it rattles very loud.
so is this an easy fix or what? if not and i have to replace the entire engine would it still be a good deal for $600?
is a supra a good first car and does it need lots of work?
i no basic mechanics from motorcyles so i can do basic work
A: I actually owned an 87 Supra Turbo as one of my cars way back. That engine is junk now unfortunately. You may be able to get one at junkyard but then you have the expense of installing it.
Wow that was a quick and fast car for 1987, faster than a base Corvette that year. I never got beat in it, handled like a dream too.
Q: need to find a car?
i wold like to get a Toyota Supra Turbo ‘99 or newer. i am in canada an i have only seen an 89 or later. where woul i find one in canada for sale??
A: Go to yahoo auto and go to the used autos. Put in your zip code. You can punch in what you are looking for and yahoo will tell you where it is at with in 300 miles. Its pretty self explanatory once you get there.
