Q: Nissan GT-R?
Anybody got theirs yet?

Why is it sold as a Nissan and not an Infiniti?

What’s it like at 9/10 ths?

And finally; can I borrow it for the weekend? I’ll bring it back with a full tank.

A: Nissan Master Technicians must receive training before Nissan will Release the cars to the dealership’s. Dealer Principals general managers owners get to go to Las Vegas very soon. Dealers must have the correct equiptment ready to service these exotic sports cars. Infinity is nissan luxury division and because of the sports car nature of the GTR we at Nissan get the car. At first no one knew which brand was getting the supercar. Only 1,400 are goint to be made so I bet the owner of a new GTR will watch my every move rightfully so! No you may not borrow it for a weekend. Unless you buy one of your own

Q: How can i get my hands on a 2009 Nissan Gt-r?
i currently have a 05 g35 coupe with sport package, but see alot of other g35s around campus… and i want to be different. how can i get a nissan gt-r cheap?

A: Cheap? Really? The cars are over $80,000.00. Cmon.

Do you have 60K layin around? That’s what an 09 will cost you.

From your friendly Nissan Salesperson :-)

Q: What car converts most accurately to a Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R?
I’ve heard of conversion kits to convert Nissan’s in the states to Skyline GT-R’s. Which ones convert the most accurately? Especially to the r33 models.

A: 95-96 240sx…just do the front and rear end conversion….and then the motor swap….you now got yourself a r33 skyline gts not gtr….for its pretty hard to make it awd…

you could also get a 92 sentra ser and do the r32 front and back light conversion…then youll have a mini r32…

Q: Does the new Nissan GT-R have the 112 mph limiter on the us model?
I know this is the first model of the GT-R that is sold here in the states, but did they keep the limiter on?

A: NO its only on the jdm spec models.

Q: Where can i buy a Nissan GT-R R35 like Brian’s off of 2 Fast 2 Furious in the united states?.?
I have been looking for a 2001 Nissan GT-R R35 such as the one Brian drove in 2 fast 2 furious and have not been successful in finding one. Could anyone here tell me where to find one of the vehicles? Thanks

A: http://www.speedforsale.com/customers/viewcar.php?vid=200

maybe this guy might sell one of his

edit: gotta love the haters ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

Q: Have Nissan increased the price of the new Nissan GT-R which is due in the UK this year?
I have heard that Nissan has increased the price of their beastly new supercar due to its high demand. Is this True?

A: Its not nissan that has increased the price of the GT-R.. its the dealers. When dealers have a hot new car you can always expect them to charge way more than MSRP. Give it a few months and the price will go down.

The first GT-R’s in the U.S were selling for around $100k and now the price has gone down to MSRP.

Q: How fast do cop cars go? Can I outrun one with a Nissan GT-R?
Nissan GT-R stats
Top speed 193 mph
0-6 in 3.3
480 Horsepower

What do you think?

A: a nissan GT-R is a friggin super car, of course it can out run a police car.

but they can still follow you. you also have traffic, road blocks, helicoptors etc to worry about.

lol like that other guy said, play grand theft auto, its safer…and such a fun game!!!

Q: does anyone no when the Nissan gt-r will be released?
My freind wants one of those new nissan gt-r, but he doesnt know when it released? Plz help?

A: June 2008 international release,But Nissan will move it iam sure

quoted from site

The Nissan GT-R is a coupé created by Nissan, released in Japan on December 6, 2007, and expected to be released internationally by early June of 2008

a lot depends when they train mechanics to repair the cars.

It doesn’t really matter having the wait as A V spec faster version is due out on a later date.

Q: What is everyones opinion on the new 2009 Nissan GT-R?
What does everyone think about it? i like it better than those high priced triple digit vehicles that everyone is in awe over. dont get me wrong i like porsche’s and ferraris but i think this car is everything a porsche is with a much lower price. im sorry but i cant see anyone buying a vehicle that costs 250k just because it can go over 200mph. The GT-R is the vehicle bargain of a lifetime.

A: I’ve seen this happen. They release a great car the first year at a huge discount and in limited quantity. Creates a great demand where people are willing to pay a mark up.

In few more years, they jack up the price.

That’s what happened to the Viper. When it first came out it wasn’t all that expensive. Now look where it is selling at.

No offense to all the GT-R lovers out there, but I can’t mix super sports with luxury and pay $$$ – so much that I’m afraid to really beat on it. When I get a car, I like to drive it hard, not be afraid to redline it, and fix it myself. None of these factory super cars fill that bill. I see plenty of people on the HWY with Porsche and Corvette that barely keeps up with the traffic.

For Pete sakes, my first car was a crappy Chevette (1.6L junk) and I always passed those shinny new sports cars. No give me a beater anyday.

Good Luck…

Q: What car would win? The new Nissan GT-R or a new MercedesBenz SL65 AMG?
I was just thinking in my head.. GT-R vs SL65 AMG, not the regular one.. ( I heard on the SL65 the spoiler goes up only when you go past 70 mph lolz..) What would you put your money on head to head on track or street?

A: Gt-R

Q: How much would you pay for a RESTORED, SALVAGED 2008 Nissan GT-R?
I’m thinking about buying a salvaged 2008 gt-r for cheap and I was wondering if what I put into it equals its actual value.
Those auctions are usually marked up pretty high. The one I found is much cheaper and in better condition.
So if MSRP is $70k then the damages would have to be a total of $35k. Gotchya.
The one that I found has been damaged in the front, head to head collision. And the guy’s insurance already paid for it in full. He took all the front body panels off but it seems that the damage may have met the radiator. I am unsure by the pictures. But everything behind the engine compartment seems to look good and undamaged. I don’t think the engine was harmed though.
He can’t park it in front of his house because the police already gave him 2 tickets so he wants to get rid of it asap. It’s in his backyard and he is selling it for really cheap. Idk if it is a typo or if he really wants it out but it is $3500.
I’m not going to buy it. He probably is driving a Porsche because he lives in a very very very wealthy neighborhood in the suburbs of Los Angeles.

A: Only a few body shops have the necessary measurement tools and necessary equipment to properly fix a GT-R Worse yet air bags crash zone sensors inter coolers oil coolers all in front of the radiator are most likely smashed too. Insurance company’s total out cars for a reason! The cost to repair exceeds 1/3 the value of the car. And if repaired how crash worthy will the car be next crash. I would not purchase that car. Any hidden unitized body damage could make that car not drive properly and cause fast tire wear. I am the GT-R technician at a Nissan dealership even for 1/2 price a wrecked car could be a real problem to put back in safe running condition. 3,500 sounds to good to be true. Most likely 35,000 it would not be cost effective. What is that guy driving now a Porsche?

Q: Does the new Nissan GT R have paddle shifters or a knob shifter?
This is very crucial for me. i hate the paddles and i feel that they are a terrible idea.

A: I guess you have never driven one! Both automatic mode and manual mode can be selected Shift into drive. then right to Manual mode paddle shift is amazing. The twin clutch system allows .02 second up and down shifts manually and the engine controls allow for automatic up and down shift operation Next Years the GTR spec V will have an actuall clutch disengagement pedal and 6 or 7 speed gear box. Good luck finding a 2009 GTR for less than $100,000. All sold out months ago. Better have lot’s of money servicing this car will get expensive. Services are free brake wear is not. GTR makes average drivers look better on the track. If your a professional driver you would be better served with a Corvette ZR-1 or ZO-6 with modifications

Q: What do you think will be the mark up price on the new 2009 Nissan GT-R?
I’m planning on getting one but six months after its release!

A: It really depends on its “hotness” factor after 6 months:

In the case of recent “hot” cars such as the first released new Mini Cooper, demand will keep sticker price right on the money. Cars are emotional purchases and demand from drivers needing to have the latest and greatest can temporarily maintain MSRP as the going rate for many months. Waiting until a car isn’t as “hot” can save quite a chunk of change. A new, not “hot” car can generally be had for 7-22% below MSRP.

In the case if the GT-R, 6 months is probably not long enough for it to become Not Hot.

Q: How many years will the new Nissan GT-R be made?
Not the V-spec, just the regular, Standard GTR. Obviously 2009 is coming out right now, and 2010 will be made but what about 2011 or 2012?

A: I am sure it will be here for 2010 and 2011.

And the new version will probably come out in 2012 if it is successful.

Q: How much would it cost to lease a 2009 Nissan GT-R?
I’m thinking about getting it but its a little too over my budget. So I was wondering how much it would cost to lease it. Thanks for all your help

A: Just as much as buying one.Although I do not know why you would want to.
